Colorado has many organizations and safe houses that help people in a domestic violence situation. The best way to find one close to you is to look on the Violence Free Colorado website, listed below. Their statewide list is extensive!

The Domestic Violence Program listed below also provides information and links to services. You may want to check out both websites to find the help you need.

Violence Free Colorado

Statewide

The Violence Free Colorado website is THE place to start when you're looking for a statewide list of places to get help. Click on their website, then click on Find Help Near You. They have a map of Colorado where you can click on a county and see the list of agencies in that county. The website also has many other resources and information, as well as their video channel on youtube, which we link to. The hotline provides immediate safety steps to be taken by those involved in any form of domestic violence. Violence Free Colorado also advocates at the state Capitol and with other governmental agencies to address domestic violence. They are a membership and advocacy organization and don't provide direct services.
